Right, second time this week. Pulled onto the driveway, went to plug the phone in for a quick CarPlay session before heading back out, and the screen just... sat there. Black for about 40 seconds, then the Jaecoo logo, then it booted back up like nothing happened. J5 EV, picked mine up in February so we're maybe 3,200 miles in. It's not a dealbreaker but it's starting to annoy me tbh. Happens most often when I've got CarPlay running and I switch to the reversing camera, or sometimes just cold mornings when everything's waking up at once. Climate controls still work through the physical bits thankfully, so it's not like I'm stuck without heating, but the touchscreen going unresponsive while you're trying to change the radio is a faff. Did a soft reset (hold the power button on the screen for about 10 seconds) and that brings it back quicker than waiting it out. Dealer reckons there's an OTA update due "in the coming weeks" which I've heard before so taking that with a pinch of salt. Wondering if it's worth booking it in anyway or just sitting tight until the update actaully lands. Anyone else seeing the same thing, and did an update sort it for you?
